PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oil base ink composition having excellent lubricating property in a broad viscosity range and a large effect suppressing tip abrasion at the pen tip of a ball paint pen by making the ink composition include a specific nonylphenyl-based phosphate as a lubricant. SOLUTION: In this ink composition comprising (A) a coloring agent, (B) an organic solvent and (C) a resin and the other additive and (D) a nonyl phenol- based phosphate represented by the formula [(n) is 2-50; (m) is 1-3; R is nonyl phenol] is contained. Furthermore, the component D has <=10 HLB and is contained in an amount of 0.5-15 wt.% in the composition and viscosity of the objective composition at 25 deg.C is preferably <=20,000 mP.s. The ratio of each component is preferably shown as follows: component A: 5-60 wt.%; component B (e.g. benzyl alcohol): 20-70 wt.%; component C (e.g. ketone resin): 5-30 wt.%. |
