PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly circulate ink without great designing change that a volume of an ink receiving member is made to be large. SOLUTION: A circulating passage includes a waste liquid returning passage 86 of which one end is connected to an ink reservoir of an ink receiving member 84 and of which the other end is connected to an ink tank 22TBk, an ink supplying passage 88 of which one end is connected to an inlet communicated to a common liquid chamber of a recording head 26Bk and of which the other end is connected to the ink tank 22TBk and a returning passage 80 of which one end is connected an outlet communicated to the common liquid chamber of the recording head 26Bk and of which the other end is connected to the ink tank 22TBk. A pump 86A which supplies the ink reserved in the ink reservoir of the ink receiving member 84 to the ink tank 22TBk through a filter cartridge 86F is provided to the waste liquid returning passage 86. A flow rate of the waste liquid returning passage 86 is roughly the same as that of the returning passage 80. The inner volume of the ink tank 22TBk is set to be approximately five times of that of the ink reservoir of the ink receiving member 84. |
