PURPOSE:To stably drive plural generators connected to the same system within a capability curve by preparing a power factor control device for received power including a suppressing function for controlling reactive power within an allowable reactive power value. CONSTITUTION:The power factor control device for received power 28 inputs the receiving voltage, receiving power and objective power factor of the system, calculates a forecasting bus voltage, calculates a voltage set value from the forecasting bus voltage and the receiving voltage, and sends the calculated value to respective AVRs 11, 19 as a voltage setting signal. The AVRs 11, 19 receive the voltage setting signal, exciting currents of generators 6, 14 and control the receiving power efficiency of the system so as to approach it to an objective power factor. The device 28 is also provided with the suppressing function for controlling the reactive power within the allowable reactive power value. Even when plural generators are connected to the system, probability for starting operation outside the capability curve can be removed and the generators can be prevented from being damaged. |
