In this packaging, use is made of a shrinkable sheet, and it is characterized in that the article is packaged with said sheet in the cold state, leaving an excess part, of the package sheet formed, at one of the ends of the article; next, the hanging tag is joined to this excess part and, next, the whole assembly is subjected to a temperature which is suitable for shrinking the packaging sheet, except in the part protected by the tag. This results in an article packaged in a tight-fitting wrapper and with a hanging tag in a display section for dispensing. <IMAGE>
