PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating utensil wherein an ink bleeding is smooth even at the start of a writing for the coating utensil having a structure wherein an area between an ink tank and a nib tip is shielded by a valve. SOLUTION: This coating utensil is constituted of a main body 2, a nib tip 3, a slide holder 30, a valve member 6, a sliding plug and a tail plug. The slide holder 30 holding the nib tip 3 is fitted in the tip end part of the main body 2 slidably in the axial direction. For the slide holder 30, a groove 31 which extends in the axial direction, is provided on the internal surface of a nib insertion hole 12. Through the groove 31, the side face of the nib tip 3 comes directly into contact with the outside air, and gas-liquid-exchange is done at the inside of the nib tip 3, and an ink in which the nib tip 3 is soaked at a region coming into contact with the groove 31, bleeds from the tip end. For this reason, even when the ink does not newly flow out from an ink tank 25, a writing can be performed. |
