PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermosensitive recording material of a level for satisfying characteristics such as excellent thermal stability of an image, color developability, white ground coloring and the like by incorporating at least one type of a specific pyrazole derivative as an electron acceptable compound. SOLUTION: A thermosensitive recording layer is provided by incorporating at least one type of an electron donative normally colorless or pale color dye precursor and a pyrazole derivative represented by a formula of an electron acceptive compound (wherein R<1> , R<2> are each a phenyl group or naphthyl group which may have a substituent, and R<3> is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group or a phenol group which may having a substituent), dispersing them in a binder and coating it on a support. The layer is heated by a heat head, a hot pen, or a laser beam to instantaneously react the precursor with the acceptive compound, thereby obtaining a recording image. A pigment, a sensitizer, an antioxidant, and a sticking inhibitor are added to the recording layer as needed. |
