PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a white polyester film which has a high film-formability and scraping resistance and is useful to be processed in a wag that the film comes to the outer surface of a container after being laminated on a metal plate. SOLUTION: A film comprises a copolymerized polyester which contains from 10 to 50 wt.% rutile-type titanium oxide with an average particle size of from 0.1 to 0.5μm, has a melting point of from 210 to 245 deg.C and has an intrinsic viscosity of the polymer part of from 0.46 to 0.66. Here, the highest peak temperature (Te) of the loss elastic modulus of the film and the glass transition temperature (Tg), determined by DSC measurement, satisfy formulae (I) and (II), and the MOR value of the film is lower than 1.4. Formula (I): Tg>=78, Formula (II): Te-Tg<=30 (wherein Tg is the glass transition temperature ( deg.C) determined by DSC measurement after heat melting at 290 deg.C and rapid cooling; Te is the highest peak temperature ( deg.C) of the loss elastic modulus of the film). |
