SUSPENSION OF CURED GRANULAR SILICONE, AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a suspension of cured granular silicone, narrow in particle size distribution and excellent in stability, even by a small quantity of surfactant, and to provide a method for producing it. SOLUTION: In this suspension of cured granular silicone obtained by dispersing a silicone oil in water in the presence of an alkyl ether of polyethylene oxide, the alkyl group having a carbon number of 13 accounts for at least 10 wt.% of the alkyl groups in the alkyl ether. In this method producing a suspension of cured granular silicone by dispersing a curable liquid silicone composition in water in the presence of an alkyl ether of polyethylene oxide, the alkyl group having a carbon number of 13 accounts for at least 10 wt.% of the alkyl groups in the alkyl ether.
