The air-current chamber for dust-extraction has an oblong housing (2) with a first outlet pipe (6) inside one end, and whose axis is parallel to that of the housing. This pipe is clear of the housing, and it contains a second outlet pipe (7) parallel to and clear of it. A first radial, axial or tangential feed pipe (9) delivers into an annular chamber (8) round the first outlet pipe, and open to the other end of the housing. Swirl is generated by guide vanes (10) in the annular chamber, or by mounting the feed pipe tangentially. A second feed pipe (11) delivers into the other end of the housing, being either tangential or equipped with vanes (14) to generate swirl. A fan (15) is connected on the suction side to an outlet pipe, while a secondary fan (16) is connected at the pressure side to a feed pipe. The first fan is connected at the suction side to the second outlet pipe. The second is connected at the pressure side to the second feed pipe and at the suction side to the first outlet pipe. USE/ADVANTAGE - Less power is required by second fan in dust extraction system.
