The invention relates to a silver halide photographic image forming process in which a developing agent incorporated into microvesicles is used. The developing agent is encapsulated in multilamellar microvesicles, and these microvesicles are then brought into contact with the exposed silver halides in the presence of an alkaline activator upon development.
