PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an animal feed additive by preparing a metal amino acid chelate. SOLUTION: This method for facilitating and promoting animal growth includes the following procedures in which a metal-containing composition is prepared by the steps (a) water is deaerated, (b) a metal salt is dissolved in the deaerated water to form a salt solution, (c) an organic acid is mixed with an amino acid to form an organic solution, (d) the organic solution is added to the salt solution to form a chelate solution, (e) a basic solution is added to the chelate solution to adjust its pH to about 4.5-8.5 to form a high chelate, then the effective dose of the resultant high chelate is joined with an animal feed and the resultant mixture is fed to intended animals. |
