PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing and purifying device comprising a tube having a photo-semiconductor layer on at least either on an inner wall or an outer wall, and a light source. SOLUTION: In a deodorozing method using photocatalyst and a lamp 4, titanium oxide thin film is used as photocatalyst for forming titanium oxide 3 on an inner and outer wall of two sorts of tubes of different diameters and the lamp 4 to emit UV-ray, and the lamp 4, titanium oxide film, and the tube having titanium oxide are disposed concentrically, so that energy emitted from the lamp 4 is efficiently utilized, thereby excellent handling and deodorizing and purifying efficiency can by provided. |
