PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to facilitate the handling of a wax used in an expansion material and a heat storage material in virtue of its features, namely, a large volume change upon phase transfer, and the receive and serve of a large quantity of heat upon phase transfer by imparting thereto a property of remaining particulate without liquefaction even when it is molten and to simplify the structure of a thermoelement using it as the expansion material and the structure of a heat storage machine using it as a heat storage material. SOLUTION: A wax for an expansion material and a heat storage material is formed into a powder by liquefying a solid wax by heating and mixing the liquefied wax with carbon black or by grinding a solid wax with carbon black, heating the mixture to a temperature at which the wax can be liquefied and to thereby allow the carbon black particles to absorb the wax in a liquid state. |
