<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably convey a sheet in the set conveying direction of a register roller when the sheet bent in front of a registering part is conveyed by the register roller. SOLUTION: In a paper feeding device with a conveyance path between a pair of intermediate rollers 1 and a pair of register rollers 2 bent downward, a pair of intermediate rollers 1 is provided in the vicinity 5c in an upstream region of an upper guide plate, and a downstream guide 4a of a lower guide plate is arranged on an extension line which crosses the direction of extension of the upstream region 5c of the upper guide plate at an obtuse angle and is in the direction of common tangential line of the register rollers 2. A sheet 3 is fed along the upper guide plate 5c from a pair of intermediate rollers 1, changes its direction by the lower guide plate 4a, then comes into contact with the register rollers 2, and is bent downward so as to leave the upper guide plate 5 so that it is conveyed by a pair of register rollers 2 and a pair of intermediate rollers 1 while maintaining the bend of the sheet without taking an unreasonable form and coming into contact with a bent part 5a.</p> |
