PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a printing head small, reduce maintenance costs, improve print quality and prevent a break of the printing head. SOLUTION: This printer has a carriage and a plurality of printing head units 11 loaded on the carriage. The printing head unit 11 includes a printing head 24 and a positioning member (positioning plate) 21 for supporting the printing head 24 and positioning the printing head to the carriage and a frame 20 mounted to the positioning member 21. Since the positioning member 21 positions the printing head 24 to the carriage, a print position is never varied among printing head units 11. Since the printing head units 11 are disposed for each color ink, two or more colors can be printed simultaneously. |
