PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To install in a desired position a ceiling access door panel which is easy and sure to open and close. SOLUTION: A rotating mechanism 6 is provided on the back of one side of a box-shaped access door panel 5. The rotating mechanism 6 has a bearing member 8 mounted on the lower part of the back of one side of the access door panel 5 and a shaft member 9. The inner end of the shaft member 9 extends into a hole in the bearing member 8. The outer end 12 of the shaft member 9 is extended upward and placed and supported on the upper surface of a ceiling finish material 2. The access door panel 5 is rotatable about the rotation axis of the rotating mechanism 6 and between a closed position and an open position. A locking mechanism 7 is provided on the side opposite to the rotating mechanism 6. The locking member 7 has a locking part 23 provided on the ceiling finish 2 and a movable member 72. The movable 27 is provided on the access door panel 5 in such a way as to be controllable from the front of the access door panel 5 and is releasably engaged with the locking part 23. |
