PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturized and inexpensive high voltage power unit for electric surgical apparatus. SOLUTION: This high voltage power unit for electric surgical apparatus is provided with an inductor L1 and switching devices 36 and 37 for electrifying high voltage impulse to the high frequency resonance circuit of a high frequency transformer 34 for outputting a high frequency high voltage to an electric surgical apparatus and a low DC voltage supply circuit is provided for supplying a low DC voltage to the inductor L1 so that this unit can be constituted compact and inexpensive.
