PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic system with which a circuit configuration, especially, the configuration of a transmission unit can be simplified. SOLUTION: Concerning the ultrasonic diagnostic system provided with an ultrasonic probe 7, transmission unit for driving the ultrasonic probe 7 in order to generate ultrasonic waves from the ultrasonic probe 7 and reception circuit 9 for receiving the echo of ultrasonic waves, the transmission unit has a transmission circuit (pulsar) 5 for transmitting the pulse of a peak value corresponding to a power supply voltage to a vibrator 8 of the ultrasonic probe 7, high voltage power source 2 for generating a comparatively high voltage, low voltage power source 2 for generating a comparatively low voltage and VH/VL switching circuit 3 for selectively switching the power supply voltage of the transmission circuit 5 to either the comparatively high voltage of the high voltage power source 1 or the comparatively low voltage of the low voltage power source 2. |
