The square gabled pack (21) has a flat roof and spout (90,91) made from a plastics laminated folded packing material. The spout itself is designed like a telescope or concertina which can be extended from a position on non-use. This spout can be made from a dimensionally rigid pipe fixed on the pack and an extension piece which is sealed from the pipe and is held at its edge remote from the pack on a closure cap detachably fixed on the pipe. ADVANTAGE - When not in use the spout lies within the contour of the pack, but when in use projects out from the external contour.
