NEW CATALYTIC ELEMENT FOR TREATING INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE EXHAUST GAS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalytic element for removing poisoned material in exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: This catalytic element has at least one monorice 10 covered with a coating portion 11. The monorice 10 has two elements 12, 13 separated by a space 14 by surfaces of an element 12 on an upstream side of the exhaust gas flow and an element 13 on a downstream side. An opening 15 is formed to the coating portion 11 communicated to the space 14.
