PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separation device for separating a fluid medium mixed with foreign matters to be operated securely and free from troubles. SOLUTION: A fluid medium mixed with foreign matters is separated by a membrane separating body 12 with a membrane element 13 of a separation device. The fluid medium to be separated is flowed from an intake to the feed side of the membrane separating body 12, and filter membrane permeating materials condensed by foreign matters and filtrated materials from which foreign matters are removed are discharged out of separated discharge outlets. At least one flowing pipeline 20 passing through the separation device and extending to the flowing direction of the fluid medium is formed of a number of membrane elements 13.
