PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging method, an imaging controller and an imaging apparatus in which deterioration of image quality is suppressed at the time of switching the print mode or recording the upper or lower end part of a recording medium. SOLUTION: At the time of switching the print mode or recording the upper or lower end part at a recording medium, a head position managing section 24 performs main scanning by a number of times corresponding to the number of dividing print while controlling the print width in each scan. An image generating section 25 transfers the print data corresponding to the print width from an image memory 28 to a band buffer 29. A head 27 forms an image based on a print data in the band buffer 29 under control of a head control section 26. The possibility of recording a line with same print element in the head 27 is reduced by moving the head by a micro width in the sub-scanning direction at a time and the effect of fluctuation of print element can be eliminated. |
