PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential device capable of being made smaller in size, which is equipped with a driving force adjustment device reducing its parts in number. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a differential case 3, a differential gear mechanism 11, a second shaft 2 equipped with a first and a second multi- disc cluth 33L and 33R disposed in parallel with output shafts 21 and 23, a third shaft 3 equipped with a third clutch 53, a first connection mechanism in which either one of the clutches 33L and 33R is selectively fastened, the third clutch 53 is fastened when both the clutches 33L and 33R are released, and a space between the differential case 3 and the output shaft 21 is connected by way of the first clutch 33L in such a way as to be accelerated/decelerated, a second connection mechanism connecting the aforesaid space by way of the second clutch 33R in such a way as to be similarly accelerated/decelerated as the aforesaid first connection mechanism is done, and with a third connection mechanism connecting a space between both the output shafts 21 and 23 by way of the third clutch 53 in such a way as to be rotated equally. And the respective clutches 33L, 33R and 53 are fastened so as to be controlled in response to the running condition of the vehicle.
