<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water resistant ink composition excellent in water resistance of printed images, also having a high storage stability and ink ejecting stability, and further excellent in the color developing property and color tone stability of the printed images. SOLUTION: This water resistant ink composition contains (I) 10 pt.wt. water- soluble dye stuff compound and/or organic pigment compound, (II) 100 pts.wt. hydrolyzable silane (A) or hydrolyzed material thereof containing an organic group containing a tertiary amino group expressed by the formula: YR<1> m SiR<2> 3-m [R<1> is a 1-8C unsubstituted or substituted monovalent hydrocarbon group by a substituent not containing nitrogen atom; R<2> is a 1-4C alkoxy group or an acyloxy group; Y is a tertiary amino group-containing organic group, (m) is 0 or 1] and 2-6 pt.wt. organic silicon compound obtained by hyrolyzing (B) a hydrolyzable silane expressed by the formula: R<3> n SiR<4> 4-n [R<3> is a 1-4C non substituted or substituted monovalent hydrocarbon group by a substituent not containing the tertiary amino group; R<4> is a 1-4C alkoxy group or an acyloxy group; (n) is 0, 1 or 2] or a partial hydrolyzed material thereof and (III) 30-10,000 pt.wt. water.</p> |
