PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a guide replacing time by reducing a frequency required for removing an induction guide for the shape steel using a crane, and to shorten the replacing time of a rolling roll as well. SOLUTION: In the changing device A for the shape steel guide between the rolling mills for changing a shape steel induction guide 17 provided at inlet on the upstream side of a rolling mill 11 on the downstream side and a shape steel induction guide 20 provided at outlet on the downstream side of a rolling mill 12 on the upstream side, the shape steel induction guide 17 and shape steel induction guide 20 are mounted, and the changing device is equipped with first and second guide supporting rests 17a and 20a freely movable between a retreat position which is a medium between the rolling mills 11 and 12 on the upstream side and the downstream side and an assembling position to both rolling mills 11 and 12, connecting means 40 to 43 connecting freely attachably and detachably the first and second guide supporting rests 17a and 20a in the retreat position, and a hoisting means 46 integrally hoisting the first and second guide supporting rests 17a and 20a in the retreat position.
