PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably remove a phosphorus component in waste water over a long period of time. SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with an impurity separation tank 1 decomposing and removing impurities in waste water and an activated sludge tank 2 decomposing the waste water passed through the impurity separation tank 1 by the action of bacteria. Further, an electrolytic tank 4 having an electrode 3 wherein at least an anode 3a comprises a metal forming an insoluble phosphate is disposed at the introducing part of waste water to the impurities separation tank 1. A phosphorus component in waste water can be removed as an insoluble phosphate by electrolysis without using a biological method.
