PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter having flexibility at a lead portion to prevent damaging a body tube inner wall of a vessel or the like or a body cavity inner surface (including an internal organ surface) which can be forwarded in a bent passage by pressure from the hand side, and a medical tube for a gas sampling tube or the like which can be forwarded without bending a lead portion by pressure from the hand side in inserting a flexible portion at a tip into a part that cannot be recognized on the outer side. SOLUTION: In a medical tube comprising a force transmitting portion 11 composed of a hollow solid body of polytetrafluoroethylene, and a lead portion 13 composed of a hollow porous body of polytetrafluoroethylene, a shock absorbing portion 12 is provided between the force transmitting portion 11 and the led portion 13, the shock absorbing portion 12 is composed of porous material of polytetrafluoroethylene having a higher bend strength than the leading portion 13, and it is ingtegrally formed with the force transmitting portion 11 and the lead portion 13. |
