PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the volume of ink absorption without increasing the film thickness of an ink absorption layer unnecessarily, avoid the occurrence of creases due to printing and cracks of a film, and manufacture at low cost by providing an ink absorption layer having a porous hydrophobic resin layer and a void layer containing fine particles with a specific average grain diameter on a water absorption support in this order. SOLUTION: An ink absorption layer having a porous hydrophobic resin layer and a void layer containing fine particles is provided in this order on a water absorption support. The thickness of the water absorption support such as an ordinary paper and synthetic paper is set 100 μm or more. As minute grains to be contained in the void layer, silica fine particles are used with its average diameter of 100 nm or lower. In order to prevent the density from lowering due to the diffusion of dye to the support and improve the water resistance, anti-blotting property, or the like of images, a cationic mordant is preferably contained in the ink absorption layer. |
