PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate transfer film having good head matching properties in the case of transferring an image to the film, good image transfer, less occurrence of a blocking and good retransfer to an image display unit. SOLUTION: In the intermediate transfer film for recording a melt thermal transfer type image comprising a releasable protective layer 2 at least releasably provided on a support 1, and an image receiving and adhesive layer 3 for writing the image based on image data provided on the layer 2 and having a thermal adhesive properties to the base material of the display unit; the layer 3 contains a resin having 100% modulus of 80 kg/cm<2> or less as a flexible resin for improving head adhesive properties and a resin having a molecular weight of 5,000 or less and a softening point of 80 deg.C or higher as a main component as the resin having a low molecular weight to prevent occurrence of a burr. |
