PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the outer appearance and the touch feeling of a product and carry out the smooth sticking work for a skin material by protruding the end face of a bent piece in a cavity on the inner side of the mold faces of split molds. SOLUTION: An end face 51 of a bent piece 50 is protruded into a cavity C by the portion of protrusion dimension (d) on a mold face 41b of a top force 41. A plurality of slit holes 52 are formed on the end face 51 of the bent piece 50. Polypropylene bead foaming particles are filled in the cavity C to form a molded product. A recessed section corresponding to the protrusion dimension (d) of the bent piece 50 protruded into a cavity 7 and protruded sections formed as the traces of the slits 52 on the bottom face of the recessed section remain on the molded product. When the surface of the molded product is coated with a skin, general surface sections of the molded product and the upper faces of the protruded sections are formed on the same level or the general surface sections are formed slightly lower. The beautiful outer appearance design properties can be secured and the coating and sticking work for a skin material can be carried out smoothly by the arrangement. |
