PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-transmitting window material suitable as a PDP electromagnetic wave shield filter or the like, excellent in electromagnetic wave shielding performance and light-transmitting property and capable of obtaining a sharp image. SOLUTION: This window material 1 is produced by integrating two transparent substrates 2A, 2B with a conductive mesh 3 or a conductive composite mesh and adhesive intermediate films 4A, 4B. In the window material 1, the conductive mesh 3 consists of a metal fiber and/or metal-coated org. fiber having <=200μm wire diameter and is a coarse mesh having >=75% opening rate. Or, the mesh is a composite mesh having >=75% opening rate which is produced by knitting together a transparent fiber and a metal fiber and/or metal-coated org. fiber having <=200μm wire diameter.
