Aqueous solution of lithium halogenides is supplied to an absorption plant (2). The recirculating absorbent is supplied from absorption plant to the heat exchanger (3) and heat is absorbed from it. Then, the liquid absorbent is supplied to the regenerator (5) and it is regenerated to form steam. The steam formed is condensed and recycled to the absorption plant. An Independent claim is also included for moist gas stream treatment system.
