Thermoretractable polyethylene film comprises central layer consisting of a mixture of radical and linear polyethylenes and at least one plastic ionomer; radical polyethylene and the ionomer making up at least 50wt.% mixture, and said layer representing at least 30% film thickness; and two external layers consisting of mixture of radical and linear polyethylenes and/or metallocene; linear polyethylene making up more than 50wt.% mixture. An Independent claim is also included for a group of products packaged by said film.
