The fuel tank has a pump (200) with a degassing orifice (202) inlet filter (100) and reservoir, and incorporates a component (300) with a channel (302). The channel has a horizontal section (304) with its inlet opposite the degassing orifice, and a vertical section (306) between 30 and 50 mm high, extending from the horizontal section and adjoining the reservoir at the filter. The reservoir itself is designed to pour fuel selectively onto the filter through a control valve when the filter is not filled with fuel. The outlet end of the channel's vertical section can face a baffle.
