The instrument includes a cooling circulation with an evaporator, a condenser, and a compressor, whereby the produced condensation water is led to a collecting arrangement. The collecting arrangement comprises a catch container (20), into which the water is led. A heating element (30) is provided in the catch container for the evaporation of the collected condensation water, which is preferably activated by a fill level detector (26) at a predetermined level.
