Solar radiation protection system for buildings

The protection system (1) deflects the direct radiation part, passing through it, by total reflection. The translucent system is swivellable about an axis (3) and so orientated with respect to the radiation impingement (S) and to the translucent facade section (window) (F) that the radiation impinges orthogonally onto the top side (D) of the system. The shaded region, caused by the system covers the translucent facade section. The rear side (R) of the system has a surface structure, through which the radiation emerges orthogonally from the system to be concentrated onto spaced solar collector region.
