PURPOSE:To obtain a heat resistant material having excellent heat and oxidation resistance in such an environment as an oxidizing atmosphere at ultrahigh temp. in the field of principal ground apparatus for energy and stock producing processes. CONSTITUTION:A coating film 3 of a carbide forming metallic element and a coating film 4 of oxide type ceramics are formed on the surface of a carbon fiber-reinforced carbon composite material which is a superheat resistant material as a base material 1 to obtain a ceramic coated carbon fiber-reinforced carbon composite material. A ceramic filler 5 is further impregnated into the film 4 and/or the film 4 is further coated with a coating film 6 having high emissivity to obtain a heat resistant carbon fiber-reinforced carbon composite material isolating an environment and having excellent resistance to heat, thermal shock, corrosion and oxidation and excellent adhesion to the base material. |
