PURPOSE:To facilitate execution of steering according to a hand more skillful than the other of an operator by a method wherein the position of a bar handle can be set to either the right or the left of an outboard motor body and the throttling rotational direction of a throttle grip is rotatable in a reverse direction to each other according to the set position. CONSTITUTION:The one end of a rotary support lever 4 is rockably mounted on the power part of an outboard motor body H, and a bar handle 5 is coupled to the other end of the rotary support lever 4. According to rocking of the rotary support lever 4, a bar handle A is movable both in the directions of the right and the left of the power part of the outboard motor body H as it is rotated both clockwise and counterclockwise around the power part of the outboard motor body H. Therefore, the handle 5 can be arranged to even either the right or the left according to a hand more skillful than the other of the operator. Besides, only movement of the bar handle 5 provided with a throttle 6 around the one end of the rotary support lever 4 suffices for a work to shift the handle bar, and the work can be simply and rapidly carried out. |
