HIGH PRESSURE STEAM STERILIZATION APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To improve sterilization workability of an object to be sterilized such as agar medium wherein temp. control is needed after sterilization by providing a temp. keeping device keeping the temp. in a sterilization tank at a specified temp. after sterilization by means of a high pressure steam sterilization machine is finished. CONSTITUTION:When a required amt. of water is put in a sterilization tank and an object to be sterilized is placed on a stage 5 and a start switch is closed, a heater 4 is wholly energized by means of a computer and the temp. of water is elevated by heating thereof and steam is generated. Air in the sterilization tank 1 is discharged into an evacuating container 11 through a check valve 10 and an automatic air vent valve 9. After the temp. in the sterilization tank 1 reaches a set temp. (121 deg.C), rate of energization of the heater 4 is lowered to keep the sterilization temp. for a set time. After the set time passes through, it is naturally cooled by stopping electric energization of the heater and when the temp. reaches the temp. to be kept, control of energization of the heater 4 is started to keep a set temp. to be kept of at most 100 deg.C and starting of temp. keeping is made known by ringing a buzzer.
