PURPOSE:To obtain the subject new clothes, composed of fabric of a special superposed structure, capable of screening sunlight, preventing sunburn, excellent in air permeability without being stuffy from the inside even on rainy days, more coolingly and comfortably wearable especially in summer and rich in fashionability. CONSTITUTION:The objective clothes are composed of many narrow tapelike materials, superposed in many stages, showing a superposed structure, tilting the overlapping direction of the superposing direction at 15-75 deg. from the direction facing from the upper to the lower parts of the clothes and having a structural part having openings between the superposed mutual narrow tapelike materials. The clothes having the superposed structure constituting them are obtained by wrapping the narrow tapelike materials impregnated with a water-soluble paste around, e.g. a rotating drum while successively shifting the positions to a desired superposed width, drying the wrapped tapelike materials, then removing the wrapped tapelike materials from the drum, obtaining temporarily tacky sheets of the superposed structure, subsequently sewing and joining the sheets, then sewing the joined sheets into the various clothes and finally removing the water-soluble paste with a solvent. |
