<p>PURPOSE:To provide the subject high performance synthetic medium by adding choline tartarate, inositol, a saccharide, citric acid, carnitine, PVA, sodium selenite, ethanolamine and interleukin 6 to an alpha-MEN medium. CONSTITUTION:A medium for low serum comprising an alpha-MEM medium mixed with at least choline tartarate and inositol is mixed with at least one kind of saccharide such as glucose, fructose, galactose, saccharose and lactose, citric acid, carnitine, polyvinyl alcohol, sodium selenite, ethanolamine and interleukin 6, adjusted to a pH of 7.2-7.4 with bubbling carbon dioxide and subsequently filtration-sterilized to obtain the objective non-serum synthetic medium for floating cells, capable of multiplying the floating cells such as hybridoma or human lymphocytes from a low concentration and of supporting the multiplication of wide cells.</p> |
