PURPOSE:To improve the extent of riding quality in keeping off a repetition of undesired shift by controlling the driving force of a vehicle so as to lessen a deviation between a desired yaw rate and an actual yaw rate of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A shift controlling computer 5 inputs a steering angle thetaS of a steering wheel 7 from a steering angle sensor 8, opening thetaA of an accelerator 9 from an accelerator opening sensor 10, car speed V from a car speed sensor 11, an actual yaw rate RY from a yaw rate sensor 12 and a brake operating signal Bon from a brake switch 13, respectively, and it performs a specified control program, thereby performing its down-shift prohibiting control prohibiting any down-shift against the will of a driver. |
