Storage system for workpieces, e.g. for robotically controlled production line

The system has a rotating support base, on which is fitted a support frame which carries the workpiece storage table. This has a number of storage positions . The whole system can be rotated through 180 deg by a servo-drive. The rotation is limited by stops. The height and position of the workpiece supports are adjusted to the height of the workpieces to ensure that the robotic transfer system does not have to be reset for height when workpiece size alters.
