The invention relates to the use of a compound of formula (I), wherein R1 is a base defined by one of the formulae (a), (b), (c) and (d), and R2 is hydroge n, C1-C4 alkyl, bromine, fluorine, chlorine or iodine, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, for producing a medicament for immunosuppressive therapy of the human or animal body. The invention also relates to combinati on preparations with cyclosporine A, tacrolismus, mycophenolatemofetil, daclizumab, rapamycin and/or one or more corticosteroids.
