METHOD FOR NON-SURGICAL TREATMENT OF GIGANTIC OMPHALOCELE

The method is applied in child surgery. It ensures secure and sound covering of the amniotic sac during the entire treatment until the sac does not eventually recovers its skin surface. The umbilical cord is cut, after which the primary surgical treatment of the amniotic sac is carried out, on which is laid a collagenic biopreparation, derived through mechanical and chemical treatment of sulphurous cattle stock membrane.
