The invention relates to a piece of folding furniture (10), comprising a base part (12) which can be fixed to a wall (14). Said piece of folding furniture (10) further has a folding part (16) which is connected to the base part (12) in a hinged manner and by means of a hinge (24) can be folded out into a substantially horizontal position in relation to the base part (12) and folded up against said base part (12). The piece of folding furniture (10) also comprises a leg (18) which is connected to the folding part (16) by means of a leg hinge (26). When the folding part (16) is unfolded said leg rests on a floor (20) in a substantially vertical manner and in this way supports the folding part (16). The invention also provides for a restricted-guidance mechanism (30) which pivots the leg (18) substantially synchronously with the folding movements of the folding part (16) so that when the folding part (16) is unfolded the leg (18) projects substantially perpendicularly from the folding part (16) and when the folding part (16) is folded up it is substantially parallel to same. |
