The sensor device (1) has a light sensor (5) and a rain sensor (8) coupled to respective sensor controls, with both sensors and their controls mounted on a common circuit board (2), mounted on the front windscreen of an automobile and enclosed by a removable housing (11), with an air gap between the latter and the windscreen.
