The present invention relates to a balcony that comprises a balcony platform (1), such as a frame structure, as well as a guard rail (8). The platform (1) is attached to the outer surface of the wall (3) of a building using hinges (4) and is also suspended using at least two lines comprising multiple links. Each line extends through an opening (5) which is formed through the wall (3) of the building, for example at the level of the ceiling (6) in the vicinity of the lateral walls of the habitation premises (7) and between them, so as to be capable of axial displacement, said line being further attached inside said premises (7).
