The ring channel blower has a fixed casing (12) containing the groove (18) which defines cells with the blade gaps of a pumping rotor (16). The ring channel has a peripheral section at least partially defined by an injection molded plastics insert (14) in the casing. A method of assembling the blower is claimed. |
