This invention is a power flossing device having a driver element (30), a driver arm (20), a flossing head (10), a retainer (40), a housing (41), and a seal (43). The driver arm (20) is coupled with the driver element (30) and the flossing head (10). The driver element (30) is responsive to rotary motion provided by a power source (50) to impart to the driver arm (20) both an oscillatory motion along its length dimension, and a wobbling motion component transverse to the length dimension. This results in elliptical motion (15). The driver element (30) is a unitary structure that has an eccentric hole (34) into which the driver arm (20) is slide situated to produce the wobbling motion (15) as the driver element (30) revolves, and further has a cam follower (35) that coacts with a cam (25) on the driver arm (20) to produce the oscillatory motion (15).
